How it all Began

Born in Paris, her childhood was underlined by school holidays in Monaco and Lancieux where she developed her artistic sensibility and a fond love for nature. She achieved her studies in English at the International University of Monaco where she graduated a bachelor's degree and a master's degree in International Business & Global Affairs, focusing her theses on art in the luxury industry then on sustainable tourism.
She started working in event planning in Monaco, organizing various exhibitions and shows. In the meantime, she was writing press articles about art and culture in French Riviera specializing magazines. Then, she decided to turn her efforts to level up her creative skills, combining wri
ting and illustration for several work projects.

Her Duty of Remembrance

Inspired by her maternal grandmother looking back on the fascinating life of her father, Robert W. Service (1874-1958) who became Bard of the Yukon in Canada, she dedicated three years of extensive research to study her ancestor’s journey. She brought back to life the adventurous poet in a fictionalized biography based on accurate textual researches and unpublished family documents revealing new insights. Published in Quebec in 2015, her first novel was awarded by Académie de Provence in France. Charlotte knows almost by heart each line of his poetry, nonetheless she is always seeking to improve her knowledge which allowed her to shape a particular anthology of Robert W. Service with the strong belief that his timeless rhymes might be inspiring for new generations of readers.
Traveling religiously in the poet's footsteps from Scotland to the Yukon in Canada, the young woman got close to the poet's feelings, his hopes and dreams, acquiring a perspicuous understanding of the driving force behind his captivating life and inspirations. Her most moving achievement today is meeting primary school pupils to talk about Robert W. Service, one highlight being rehearsing a poem with pupils for Remembrance Day and showing how poetry can be inspiring for new generations.

Her watercolors have been exhibited at Lancieux and Monaco, whereas her seascape photographs are displayed by Emerald Coast tourism office.
No doubt, Brittany is sparking her joyful creativity for drawing and also photography.  She enjoys to confront her camera to storms and wind, climbing rocks to catch a sunset, paying attention to small details as a reflected image in the sea. She is seeking to find the harmony of a composition that will change the perspective. A striking photo should focus on perspective, enhance colors motion and convey a story awaking our own imagination. Her photographic partner is a Lumix GX1 300mm lens. She also enjoys to pose in front of the lens, becoming the face of several photos shooting stories, mainly outdoor, for digital and classic photography.
Acquiring new expertise as a graphic designer since the Covid lockdowns, she is now cleverly combining her artistic skills in the creation process of her books publishing. Quality text, sophisticated art creation and detailed graphic design being inherent of the art experience she is aiming to share in books, exhibitions and shows.

Infine Art Collaboration

She collaborated with Infine Arts (from 2019 to 2021) for editing Robert W. Service books, some photo-shootings campaigns and an exhibition entitled “Trees of LIFE”. The project, not fulfilled because of covid crisis, is a photographic study aiming to question how we are bound to trees in our close environment, an issue raised during the lockdown which limited our freedom of movement. Beyond the aesthetic beauty of these portraits of trees lies a question concerning the threatening pressure of urbanization. Starring Jacopo Brancati, Charlotte Longépé recorded and edited videos episodes teaching master class of classic photography, from outdoor photos shooting with large format Horseman to the negative development of b/w and colored films in the dark room and the negative printing.
